French-American Science Fest


Sixth Edition: Plant biotechnology and Particles physics in the spotlight!

Following the great success of the 5th annual French-American Science Fest in 2016, the Office for Science and Technology in Chicago is back with a new exciting program, as part of the French Innovation Week.  A great variety of events that showcase the best of French science, technology, innovation, including 2 free conferences with leading French scientists and a whole-day  of hands-on activities for students and their teachers, will take place throughout the city!

This year’s conferences are:
The new genome-editing technologies and their potential applications in agriculture presented by Agnès Ricroch from AgroParisTech.
The recent observation of gravitational waves presented by Benoit Mours from the National institute of nuclear and particle physics (IN2P3) of the CNRS.
