Sixth Edition: Plant biotechnology and Particles physics in the spotlight!
Following the great success of the 5th annual French-American Science Fest in 2016, the Office for Science and Technology in Chicago is back with a new exciting program, as part of the French Innovation Week. A great variety of events that showcase the best of French science, technology, innovation, including 2 free conferences with leading French scientists and a whole-day of hands-on activities for students and their teachers, will take place throughout the city!
This year’s conferences are:
– The new genome-editing technologies and their potential applications in agriculture presented by Agnès Ricroch from AgroParisTech.
– The recent observation of gravitational waves presented by Benoit Mours from the National institute of nuclear and particle physics (IN2P3) of the CNRS.
